Examples that demonstrate your responsibility, problem-solving, and cultural sensitivity
Skills checklist: Ensure you are comfortable with all areas required in the clinical checklist
Expect questions about:
Scenarios from your department (use the APIE nursing model: Assess, Plan, Implement, Evaluate)
Your current role and responsibilities
Charge nurse experience and working under pressure
Knowledge of equipment, medications, and cardiac rhythms
How you manage conflict, quality assurance, and compliance with policies
Online Interviews
Before the Interview:
Test your video conferencing platform and internet connection in advance.
Practice with a friend or your consultant to feel comfortable

During the Interview:
Sit in a quiet, well-lit, private space
Ensure the background is tidy and professional
Dress smartly – uniform preferred if applicable
